Question by Holly: Can I write about sex, drugs, and changes in a college essay? University essay...?

Essay Prompt: What have you learned in the past year that will change the way you view the world?

In the past year, I went from my first kiss to sleeping around, I learned my dad does pot, and I've moved to a different state while going through a major depression. Through all of that, the year has taught me that change isn't necessarily a bad thing. Moving helped me realize not to sweat the small stuff. Sometimes its hard to get caught up in the moment, however you need to take a step back and realize that there are bigger problems in the world.

So, I realize that its probably not the best to talk about sex and drugs in a college essay, however it would be interesting...What do you think?

Be as graphic as possible, especially if your prof is an old man and you are a young, attractive, well figured co-ed.
